There is a feeling that burns the soul of man
Of a Prometheus chained to the stone
The cubicle and the Excel spreadsheet march on the lives of success Whilst the man of the bill and gun
marches against its own people in harmony
Two pills are held before you
Two options by which man is molded,
At least that’s what the books say
Cooperate and do nothing, and survive
Or face the fate of the lord of fire
And hold the gifts and the energy which powered such a horrific man years ago to make supposedly great progress
Back in his day
And have it trapped inside four walls and a nice suit,
while the man kicks you in the teeth
