Thisyear,thePrioryComputerSciencedepartment hasseensomeexcitingnewchanges.Ms.Hemiup, the head of the department, said “We are succeeding in bringing more girls in to take more computer science courses, such as the Mobile Computing class, where there are more girls than guys.Wehavealmostdoubledthegirlsinrobotics.” Clearly, Priory is playing an important part in educatingandintroducinggirlstocomputerscience related fields, where there are traditionally more boys. Robotics is seeing female leadership, and manygirlsplayimportantrolesduringbuildseason. Finally, students in AP Computer Science are

It requires lots of thinking and creativity.”Indeed,sodomanyotherareasof computer science at Priory.
