G. Follow Up & Remote Monitoring
1. Toeffectivelymanagesmallproblemsplantofollowuppersonallywiththeshop, in particular during the first two weeks
a. Providing they are capable, involve an agency rep or distributor rep
b. When visiting the shop:
1. Makeyourroundswiththetechnicians,solicitfeedbackandtryto identify any resistance and non-compliance
2. Spotcheckinventoryonsomekeyproducts
3. Troubleshootanydiscrepanciesbyreviewingtheinventorylogor
tech snapshot with shop management
4. Verifythatfractionalizedproductsarebeingcheckedoutcorrectly
5. Visitwiththeperson(s)responsibleforordercheck-inandaddress
any issues that they may be having
6. Trytomeetwithavailablemanagementpersonneltogettheir
perspective and learn of any issues they may be aware of
2. Inadditiontopersonalvisits,youcanremotelymonitorshopactivitythroughthe
TIM application
a. Check the inventory page and look for anything that looks out of the
ordinary, pay special attention to part numbers that are highlighted in red which indicates a negative QTY (could be a problem with the physical count, or orders aren’t being checked in)
