a. Explain the checkout process, go through it once without explanation to
demonstrate the speed (less than 10 seconds & back to work)
b. Call on volunteers and have them log in and checkout some product
c. If the tech completes the checkout adjust the inventory afterwards, or
show them how to do a product return which will correct the inventory
d. Stress pressing the “Green Button” to complete checkout
e. Show them how the program cycles back to the log in screen, this means
that they can hit the “Green Button” and walk away
f. Discuss the products that are fractionalized, show them on the barcode
labels where to find the checkout quantities
g. Pass out access cards (if used) at the conclusion of the meeting

a. Show them how to pull up the website from their smart scale, also show
them how to move back and forth between TIM and mixing software
b. Explain the procedure for checking out toner backups, emphasize that
the technicians doesn’t have to stop in the middle of mixing a color, recommend that they set empty toner containers to the side when they change them out and scan the empties a few times a day
c. Fractionalization isn’t an issue in the mixing room, most shops prefer full box quantities (typically with a backup) for high usage products such as paints cans, disposable mixing cups, paint cup liners, wiping clothes, etc.
d. For the painter’s convenience, offer to place barcode labels on the wall near the paint scale

a. Go through the suggested ordering process and use this opportunity to
place an automated order
b. Demonstrate the manual ordering process
c. Review the PO check-in process with the necessary people
