Hospital, Faridabad. Transcriptomic and connectivity map studies on another herbal extract of Patha
(Cisssampelous pareira-CIPA) led to identification of novel link between estrogen modulation and viral
inhibition, validating its pharmacological actions described in Ayurveda. The study also led to the
elucidation of the repurposing potential of CIPA in SARS-Cov2 inhibition.

Prakriti stratification methods are also being integrated in clinical conditions to develop prognostic
                                                                                                                  9
and diagnostic markers in lifestyle and complex disorders like Type II diabetes mellitus, in clinical
collaboration with AIIA. This is expected to provide molecular and genomic patterns corresponding to
endophenotypes, identified based on clustering of disease populations through the Prakriti-Vikriti
               methods.

Bhavana’s group also undertakes orientation programmes including lectures and hands on training on
Prakriti, Ayurgenomics methods and its scientific basis for Ayurveda faculty, postgraduates,
researchers from pan India through CME workshops and for medical officers of AYUSH health &

“I'm convinced that the best solutions are often the ones that are

counterintuitive - that challenge conventional thinking - and end in

               breakthroughs.” — Nathaniel J. Wyeth
