Calculate the answer to the following question.

A 2015 M1 saloon car has a test weight of 1,200kg and the service brake effort measured

for each of the four wheels are: 260kg, 290kg, 170kg and 180kg. What is the percentage

efficiency and result? (Hint, add the four brake efforts, and then see what percentage this

is of the vehicle weight?)

A. 75% - Pass

B. 55% - Pass

C. 55% - Dangerous defect

D. 75% - Major defect
