“หงส์ยนตร์” สัญลักษณ์ของกรมท่าอากาศยาน คือ รูปหงส์ยนตร์ ซึ่งแปลว่า หงส์ที่มีเครื่องกลไก
ออกแบบโดยกองหัตถศิลป์ กรมศิลปากร มีผู้ร่าง คือ พระพรหมพิจิตร ผู้เขียน คือ คุณโนรี รจนะศิลปิน
ซึ่งได้ให้เหตุผลว่า การใช้รูปหงส์ยนตร์ เพราะหงส์เป็นนกในตระกูลสูง และเพื่อเป็นสิริมงคล
และยนตร์ แปลว่า เครื่องกลไก เครื่องจักร จึงควรจะเป็นเครื่องหมายพาหนะการบินของกรมฯ ต่อไป
DOA’s logo features a stylized swan mounted on a contrivance. Designed by the Craftsmanship Division
of the Fine Arts Department, it was drafted by Phra Phrom Phichit and drawn by Mr. Noree Rojanasilapin. The
swan is considered to be an auspicious and noble bird, while the engineering component symbolizes machinery
or equipment.
