Message from the Director General of the Department of Airports

นับแต่ปี 2558 ที่กรมท่าอากาศยานได้แยกบทบาทและ
ภารกิจออกมาจากกรมการบินพลเรือน และได้เริ่มต้นในบทบาท
และภารกิจใหม่ ในฐานะผู้ประกอบการสนามบินภาครัฐเต็มตัวนั้น
เป็นเวลา 4 ปี ซึ่งในช่วงแรกเริ่ม มีความเปลี่ยนแปลงเกิดขึ้น
อย่างมากมาย ทั้งโครงสร้าง อัตราก�าลัง งบประมาณ และ
แผนพัฒนาท่าอากาศยานส่วนภูมิภาค ซึ่งเป็นการด�าเนินตาม
ภารกิจที่ชัดเจน นอกจากนั้น ปัจจัยต่างๆ ทั้งภายในและภายนอก
ที่ได้เปลี่ยนแปลงไป ท�าให้กรมท่าอากาศยานและบุคลากรต้อง
เร่งปรับตัวให้ทันต่อความเปลี่ยนแปลงดังกล่าว เพื่อให้ปฏิบัติ
ภารกิจได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพและตอบสนองความต้องการของ
ประชาชนในการเดินทางทางอากาศ
ในช่วงเวลาดังกล่าวนี้เอง ท่าอากาศยานส่วนภูมิภาค
ของเราได้รับงบประมาณจากรัฐบาลอย่างเต็มที่ ในการพัฒนาและ
ปรับปรุงเพื่อรองรับกับปริมาณจราจรที่เติบโตขึ้น สร้างความสะดวก
สบายในการเดินทางของประชาชน และสร้างความเชื่อมั่น
ให้เกิดขึ้นต่อการใช้บริการท่าอากาศยาน ซึ่งเป็นไปตาม ขอขอบคุณบุคลากรของกรม โดยเฉพาะผู้ปฏิบัติงาน
มาตรฐานที่ก�าหนดไว้ การก่อสร้างอาคารผู้โดยสารหลังใหม่ ที่ท่าอากาศยาน ซึ่งเป็นก�าลังส�าคัญหลักของเรา ที่ได้ปฏิบัติงาน
ของท่าอากาศยานแม่สอด กระบี่ ขอนแก่น และการก่อสร้าง ด้วยความมุ่งมั่น เสียสละ อดทน ร่วมแรงร่วมใจท�างานมาตลอด
ท่าอากาศยานเบตง ซึ่งเป็นไปเพื่อประโยชน์ในการเดินทาง ขอขอบคุณในความเข้าใจและความร่วมมือ และขอเป็นก�าลังใจ
ที่สะดวกสบาย สู่พื้นที่ที่การคมนาคมทางบกไม่สะดวก และ ให้พวกเราปฏิบัติงานให้บริการประชาชนด้วยความตั้งใจ และ
ใช้เวลานานในการเดินทาง อีกทั้งเป็นการสร้างความเจริญให้กับ ยึดมั่นในความซื่อสัตย์สุจริตตลอดไป
เมืองและประชาชนในพื้นที่ได้มีทางเลือกในการประกอบอาชีพ นางอัมพวัน วรรณโก
ที่ไม่ต้องพึ่งพาการเกษตรแต่เพียงอย่างเดียว ภารกิจเหล่านี้ อธิบดีกรมท่าอากาศยาน
ล้วนเป็นความภูมิใจของเรา กรมท่าอากาศยาน
ด�ารงต�าแหน่งในปีงบประมาณ 2562

In 2015, the Department of Airports (DOA) was separated from the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) and
started its new role and missions as a full-fledged operator of state-owned airports. The first four years from the
separation was the real challenge for DOA, we had to change our direction, restructure the organization, alter the
workforce and budget management in order to achieve our apex mission, the development of the regional airports.
In addition to the internal challenge, we also faced the external challenge which drive DOA and its personnel to
quickly adapt to the new environment, so that our operation maintain its effectiveness and timely response to
the public travel demand.
In the course of the transition, DOA strived to manage and improve the regional airports to accommodate the
growth of air traffic, to ease the public travel, to ensure the public confidence in airport services and to comply
with the set standards. Our effort was successful with the government budget. The remarkable achievement
included the construction project of new terminal buildings in Mae Sot, Khon Kaen and Krabi Airports as well as
the construction of Betong Airport. The Betong Airport Development Project was expected to facilitate travel to
and from the area with inconvenient and time-consuming land transport and also brought local economic growth
to the surrounding communities and their inhabitants, providing them with occupational alternatives without
depending solely on agriculture.
I would like to express my gratitude to all personnel, particularly the essential colleagues who have been
working tirelessly in the regional airports and clearly show their understandings and the united effort. Finally, I
would like to give encouragement to all personnel to continue your duty with determination and maintain your
honesty and great moral integrity as always.
