The implementation plan commenced in early 2025 with a seminar on lessons learned from water management and rainy season preparedness measures for 2024. The findings, along with feedback and recommendations from all relevant sectors, were incorporated to improve the measures and address floodmanagement challenges for the following year. The proposed rainy season preparedness measures for 2025 are scheduled to be submitted to the NWRC and subsequently to the Cabinet for consideration and approval.Upon approval, all relevant agencies will expedite the preparation of their respective action plans in accordance with their mandates.
