WELCOME
Welcome to Year 7 and Year 8 at Millfield Prep School!
This pupil handbook is full of information to guide you through your next two years at the Prep School. An exciting
time lies ahead with opportunities for you to thrive in your academic work, sport, music and drama.
Your Group Tutor will go through this handbook with you at the beginning of the academic year and you can access
it yourself on your iPad.
This is a wonderful school to be a pupil at. Grasp every opportunity that comes your way and go for it! Aim to

THE STRUCTURE IN YEAR 7 AND 8
Each year group has a Head of Year. For September 2025:
Mr Guthrie – Head of Y ear 8 Miss McConnell – Head of Y ear 7
Each year group is then split into smaller tutor groups.
Your Group Tutor will see you every morning at registration. They will greet you with a smile and pass on any
important messages to you about the school day. Your Group Tutor will look after you during your time at Millfield
Prep and help to help to keep you organised with the day to day running of our school.
