HOW WE USE OUR INCOME
Our endowment is lower than most other independent boarding schools. Almost
all of Millfield’s £53m annual income is spent every year on the operational costs
of running one of Europe’s largest co-ed boarding school. 16% of annual income
is currently spent on funding fee assistance to families who would otherwise not
be able to afford a Millfield education. We need to grow our endowment to secure
the long term availability of life-changing bursaries, sustaining the Millfield Mix
of students.
