           INFORMATION






           A very warm welcome to Millfield. We hope that the information contained within this document helps to give an
           understanding of some of the Millfield routines and regulations. Specific house information is found in this house
           handbook. If anything is unclear, please do not hesitate to contact Mrs Butt for more information.




           FIRE SAFETY
           A fire safety briefing will be given at the start of the
           academic year and all houses carry out planned fire drills
           every term. If the fire alarm is heard at any time, all students
           must congregate outside at the relevant fire safety location.

           CARE OF PERSONAL POSSESSIONS
           All possessions should be indelibly marked or engraved.
           Clothing must have name tapes stitched/ironed on. Name
           tapes can be ordered from the school shop and spare
           name tapes are necessary for items purchased during
           term-time. Articles of value should be insured under your
           household policy under all risks or you may wish to use the
           policy recommended by the school. Students should keep
           the number of possessions they bring to the school to a
           minimum.
