WARNER
WELCOME TO WARNER
All who live and work in Warner House speak of the warm and
homely environment. We love everything about boarding life
and develop quickly as one big family. The team come together
to organise the treats and extras that help to make it feel like a
second home for the girls. Andrew is renowned for his stocked
to order Tuck Shop and Jenny for her brilliant Instagram diary
that enables friends and family to keep up to date. All who
work at Warner, from evening tutors to our support team have
one goal in mind, to maintain a happy and supportive house.
I am Housemistress of Warner House with my husband
Andrew, daughter Florie and Baxter the house dog. I started
my role in boarding when I joined the Year 9 programme in
Acacia having previously been part of the pastoral teams in
Martins and The Lakes. Originally from North Wales, I studied
Fine Art at Chelsea Art College before embarking on my
teaching career. I am a teacher of Art, focusing on the Fine
Art GCSE and A level courses and there is certainly a creative
element emerging in the boarding house. I enjoy running, golf,
cooking, travelling, and spending time with my family.
Andrew runs his own decorating firm locally, and he too enjoys
golf, gardening and being part of a busy boarding house. A
huge sports fan, he captained Wells Rugby Club in his playing
days as scrum half. He has now turned his sports enthusiasm
to coaching the local cricket club in Glastonbury. Together we
have a daughter Florie who has attended Millfield Prep since
she was three and is a huge Millfield fan, she has ambitions to
play Hockey for England when she is older and is most excited
about graduating to the Senior school when the time comes.
