Portway is a warm and friendly house and friendships are made between year groups. We have 60 students in Portway
ranging from Year 10 to Upper Sixth. Whilst everyone has either a shared bedroom or a room on their own, there is also
plenty of space to socialise with friends in and out of the house. MANTELL PAVILION
Being an international boarding school provides a valuable opportunity for boarders to widen their horizons. They meet
students from different cultures and can enrich their experience through the international friendships. We believe that
the multi-cultural thinking and understanding of differences we seek to instil in students will enable them to make a Butleigh Astros
difference when they go out into the world.
