There will be a sustained induction programme which will
aim to gradually introduce school systems and house rules, 07:40
and to ensure each boy’s effective integration into the 08:00 Seniors in breakfast through

with their prep or miss their old friends. Everyone gets
homesick at some point; it takes some longer to adjust than
others. If your son does go through a low patch, particularly 16:00 End of academic teaching
in the first few weeks, please do not hesitate to call us to
discuss the issues. However, from experience we have found 18:00 Supper and roll call
that the more you are on the phone to your son during
this time, the less time they have to socialise and build 19:00 House meeting
friendships with their new peer group. Think about arranging
regular phone calls at agreed times and try to resist the
temptation to take him home each weekend or call him 19:15 Prep time
every day. We advise that no exeats should be taken during -20:45

hard, but all the house staff will be on hand to support your 20:30 Evening activities on campus
son, and for the vast majority of the students this period of – All boys back in house
