A TYPICAL DAY &
GENERAL INFORMATION
The timetable opposite sets out a typical day for the boys of
Holmcroft House.
DAILY
On Saturdays bedtimes may be extended at the discretion ROUTINE
of the member of staff on duty. On Sundays the boys have a
lie-in. Brunch is served at 11.30am and supper at 5pm. Boys 07:00 Wake-up
have the opportunity to visit Street and campus during the
day. By Juniors have breakfast and depart
07:30 the dining hall by 8am
EARLY DAYS AT HOLMCROFT HOUSE By House clear
There will be a sustained induction programme which will
aim to gradually introduce school systems and house rules, 07:40
and to ensure each boy’s effective integration into the 08:00 Seniors in breakfast through
busy life at Millfield. There will be daily house meetings to servery

regular phone calls at agreed times and try to resist the
temptation to take him home each weekend or call him 19:15 Prep time
every day. We advise that no exeats should be taken during -20:45
the first two weekends of the academic year. We know this is
hard, but all the house staff will be on hand to support your 20:30 Evening activities on campus
