DONATING
Millfield has a long tradition of philanthropy, dating back
to the founding of the school by RJO (Boss) Meyer in 1935.
The school is rightly very proud of the Millfield
Mix, which has always been a defining feature
of Millfield. Our aim is to offer more assisted
places so that a greater number of children
can experience a life changing Millfield
education.
We also work with the Department of
Education to place vulnerable young people,
whom might otherwise eventually need to be
taken into local authority care, into boarding 01
schools, with the aim of transforming their
lives and prospects.
Across the campus there are many examples
of the generosity of the Millfield community.
From the 50 metre Olympic-sized swimming
pool to the Fencing Salle and now the
state-of-the-art golf and cricket centres.
“Why do we support
a scholarship? What 02
Millfield can provide, and
what it did provide for
our daughters has been
fantastic. It helped to
mould our girls into
well-rounded individuals
who aspire and inspire. 03
We, as a family, wanted Everyone in the Millfield community can, and
does, play an important part. It is not just
to give this opportunity about large gifts – contributions of all sizes
make a real difference. There are lots of ways
to others, which we to get involved and we are grateful for the
believe will be truly incredible support that the Millfield
community has shown in a wide range of
life-changing for them.” projects.
