In May, we hosted our first-ever
Music Production Showcase—where
students shared their original
works-in-progress and discussed the creative
and technical journeys behind them. Led
by Mr Wallace, the event gave insight into
songwriting, recording, and production, while
encouraging collaboration and peer inspiration.
The showcase sits alongside the exciting
momentum of the Millfield Record Label
project, now powering into its second season—
providing real-world opportunities for students
to develop and release their music.

Following a fantastic joint rehearsal
in October, we’re excited to continue
our fourth year of collaboration with
the Somerton Concert Band. This project
offers woodwind, brass, and percussion
players a chance to make music in a fun, multi-
generational ensemble—perfect for building
confidence and ensemble skills. All abilities
welcome!
