This winters's Music at Millfield
concert takes a new direction,
celebrating the richness and variety of
instrumental music through a stunning
programme of small ensemble performances.
Set in the beautiful Johnson Hall, the evening
will feature the String Orchestra, Symphonic
Winds, Sinfonietta, and the Jazz Band—now
under exciting new direction—alongside a
diverse selection of chamber groups. From
classical to contemporary, this concert
showcases the artistry and energy of our
instrumentalists, offering a vibrant musical
journey with no vocals—just instruments in
the spotlight.

Celebrate the wonder of Christmas
with our school’s much-loved Carol
Service, a highlight of the festive
season and a time-honoured tradition in our
musical calendar. Our three school choirs will
perform a rich programme of choral music—
from well-known classics to contemporary
work. This year’s service is especially
meaningful, as 30 of our singers set off the
very next day on an exciting choir tour to
Edinburgh, bringing added anticipation and
energy to the evening. Join us for an uplifting
and memorable celebration of music,
community, and the spirit of the season.
