Spring and Summer Concert
Our ensembles and choirs were given a major
workout with only seven school weeks between
the spring and summer concerts. This year, due to
over 220 pupils being involved in each event, we
moved to the Sports Hall and it was felt that the

change of venue was a great success! Highlights
from both concerts include performances from
the Year 2 recorders, Pre-Prep choir (not a dry
eye in the house!), Year 4 orchestra and Year 6
ukuleles. In addition to these, there were fantastic
performances from the senior orchestra, wind
ensembles, bands, and choirs with the summer
concert culminating in a performance of Hey
Jude, which also required enthusiastic audience
participation! Well done to all involved.

Young Voices
02 On 20 May, 48 pupils in Years 4-6 travelled to
the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham for the
hugely anticipated return of the live Young Voices
event after a two-year wait! We performed a huge
variety of songs and medleys alongside the world
renowned Beatbox Collective, Yolanda Brown,
Andrew Roachford, the very popular Young Voices
dance troupe Urban Strides and 5,500 other pupils
from around the country! An amazing time was
had by all, and pupils, staff and parents are already
looking forward to next year’s event!
