d. Toko Indah

                       Discount of the shirt = 10 × IDR 80.000,00 = IDR 8.000,00
                                                     100

                       Discount of the pants = 25 × IDR 100.000,00 = IDR 25.000,00
                                                     100
                       Total discount of Toko Indah = IDR 8.000,00 + IDR 25.000,00 = IDR 33.000,00

Based on the calculation, Toko Indah is the store that provides the biggest discount. So,
Kai can shop at Toko Indah to get the cheapest price.

                   Tax

If the discount is a discount or reduction in value to the initial value or price, then on
the contrary, tax is the amount of the value of an item or service that must be paid by

the public to the Government. In a sale and purchase transaction there is a type of tax
that must be paid by the buyer, namely Value Added Tax (VAT).

Value Added Tax (VAT) is a tax that must be paid by the buyer to the seller on the

consumption/purchase of goods or services. The seller represents the government to
receive tax payments from the buyer to be deposited into the state treasury. Usually

the amount of VAT is 10% of the selling price.

               Example :

A person sells an item at a price of Rp. 200,000.00 (without tax). The goods are purchased by
someone with a Value Added Tax (VAT) of 10%. So the money to be paid by the buyer (including

               tax) is :

                                             100% + 10% × 200.000 = 220.000.
