Food Quality and Safety
To assure health control at all of its units and manufacturing of safe products in order to com- ply with applicable laws, standards and regula- tions, in addition to meeting customer expecta- tions, control measures are adopted daily.  ese measures consist of applying procedures based on self-control programs, which include: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard San- itation Operating Procedure (SSOP), Sanitary Operating Procedures (SOP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), among others.  ese procedures are also veri ed by
the Federal Inspection Service (Serviço de In- speção Federal – SIF) at the Ministry of Agri- culture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA), which operates in a permanent inspection regime.  e Company holds certi cations recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), such as BRC – a global food safety standard, which shows the Company's level of competen- cy and excellence regarding hygiene, food safe- ty and quality systems.
