On Tuesday 23rd May, Northern Yorke Peninsula competed at the SAPSASA Football Carnival in Adelaide. The girls had plenty of wins, with only a couple of losses. Well done to Nikeisha Atkinson and Mr Hartley who represented Harvest as part of the NYP team.
On Wednesday 31st May, selected students from Years 10, 11 and 12 went down to Minlaton where they competed against other schools throughout the Yorke Peninsula, playing basketball.
The girls played well but were unfortunately unable to come away with a win. The boys combined with Sonny Hart from Yorketown Area School and were able to win 3 of their games and tied for 3rd place with Maitland Lutheran School.
Also on Wednesday 31st May, selected Year 5/6 boys headed down to Adelaide to compete in the SACSA Soccer Competition. Although it was a tough day out on the field, the boys played with spirit, sportsmanship and a “don’t give up” attitude.
