First Day of Term 4
It was very encouraging to see how positively our students engaged on their first day of Term 4, as they enjoyed the diverse educational experiences at Harvest, while being guided by our very supportive staff. Walking around the college, we found students in the Library reading with Harriet, our Wellbeing dog, and on to the Science Centre, where we watched students perform science experiments as they heated various elements.
Moving on to the Automotive Centre, students worked under the bonnet of one of our donated vehicles. At the Agriculture Gardens, some of our Primary students enthusiastically harvested produce. Moving on to the Home Economics Centre, students learned to use the coffee machine while others decorated cupcakes.
This was just a glimpse into the day of the life of Harvest.
