   Year F/1 Auslan
The Auslan Alphabet, also known as finger spelling, utilizes two-handed signs to represent each letter.
The Year F/1 students played matching games to aid their comprehension of the Auslan alphabet.
Art
During the Kernewek Festival, our High School Artworks created during term were on display at the Moonta Art Gallery.
At the start of the year, all art students from Year 1 to 10 completed a dot painting project. Students studied Aboriginal artworks and practised some of the Aboriginal dot painting signs. Then they created their own dot painting. Some chose a traditional dot painting style, and others chose a more modern style. Our Year 6s created their dot painting on pieces of bark as pictured. Also, our Year 11 and Year 12 Art students will have their final artworks from December 2022 displayed.

On April 12, the Year 10 Food Studies students were tasked with preparing the delicious Sang Choy Bow. Our budding chefs skillfully balance nutrition and flavours. The students honed their cooking techniques and explored the art of presentation, experimenting with various approaches to visually elevate their creations.
