may also demonstrate the other persons. If a defendant has no injuries to their hands, including

                   superficial, and the victim has serious bodily injuries to their face (broken bones, contusions,
                   abrasions) – something happened. If the victim stated an instrument was used, that could explain

                   the lack of injuries; or, if the victim state only fists were used, that does not explain the lack of
                   injuries.



                   The CFDI, as a non-expert, will not be offering an opinion as to the official findings or their own.

                   The report is to provide the information, facts, and evidence to the defense team.



                5. Recommendations
                   This section will likely be excluded from the CFDI’s report and be part of a confidential work-

                   product memorandum. This will include any tasks which the CFDI has determined to be necessary
                   for the purposes of furthering the defense strategy. Common are examinations of physical

                   evidence, independent and confirming laboratory tests, follow-up and developed witnesses
                   interviews and backgrounds, requesting discovery not disclosed (potential Brady violations),

                   expert consultations, and specific investigative recommendations.
