It is here - the year of perfect vision! We hope each of you and your families had a wonderful celebrations of Christmas,
Hanukkah and New Years. From Thanksgiving to New Years, it is a busy time of holidays and celebration as reflect on all
we are fortunate for and begin to look ahead.

Trends We are Watching in 2020
Our agency, along with many others, is involved in several aspects of our profession - from trends to legislation and
regulations. The last quarter of 2019 was very busy with these and we covered some in past newsletters.

Colorado PI Licensing
In Colorado the Professional Private Investigators Association of Colorado (PPIAC) and Legislative Committee is working
daily to introduce and have passed renewed legislation to continue the licensing program of private investigators. In
October the oversight agency, Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) issued its sunset review report and has
recommended the program end due to no potential harm to the public. Having been in business over 32 years, and the
licensing program being only five years old - and a proven success in protecting the public.
