9 Simple Habits to Jumpstart Your Paralegal [or Investigator] Productivity
Thanks Michelle Harris of Harris Investigations (PA)...

Productivity means different things to different people. For some, it means working your way through your to-do list,
accomplishing every task before day’s end. For others, it means staying busy all day, always keeping those feet moving
or fingers typing. Yet for others, it can mean being productive at work in order to free up time for pleasurable activities,
such as getting to the gym or spending more time with family at the end of each day.

Regardless of your definition of productivity and what it looks like to you, all paralegals and legal assistants can benefit
from the same productivity tips that others rely on to get more done, stay more relaxed, and find more balance. We
offer you nine of those tips…

Good points - thanks for sharing. We follow the first two easily; the others - depends.

Crime Scene DNA Reliability Called Into Question After Man’s Bone Marrow Transplant
(shared from the National Defender Investigator Association)

Four years after his treatment, DNA analysis shows that parts of Chris Long now contain more than just stem cells from
his donor, a German man who lives thousands of miles away. Lip, cheek, and tongue swabs revealed that his donor’s
DNA was present at fluctuating levels throughout the years, while his donor’s DNA had entirely replaced Long’s semen.
The only regions that were not affected were his chest and head hair.

DNA has long been considered the gold standard when it comes to criminal investigations and has largely been infallible
in court. It begs the question: Could these findings change how criminal investigators rely on DNA?

The Case File discount code for Investigator Colleagues
Paul Purcell is a close friend and PI consultant in GA. Many years ago he developed a simple to use Word doc based
platform to help PIs with their case management.

It has everything you can think of, and things you can't - and its customizable because its Word. I highly recommend it,
        see Paul's message below.
