TOBACCO LOOPING CONTEST

Open to Youth (grades 3-12) and Adults (age 19 and above)
Competitions are open to any 3-member tobacco looping team (1 looper, 2 handers).
This will be a timed event.
Winning tobacco sticks will be determined by a panel of judges based on time, number of
hands, and quality.
Registration begins at 9:00 am the day of the contest.

TOBACCO TYING CONTEST

Open to Youth (grades 3-12) and Adults (age 19 and above). This will be a timed event.
You may tie as many hands as you can in a set amount of time. You may pick your best
three (3) hands for judging.
Based on time and quality, a panel of judges will determine the winning tobacco hands.

Registration begins at 12:00 noon the day of the contest.

TRUCK & TRACTOR DRIVING CONTEST

Both events, hosted by Southern Lee, Lee County High School FFA and NC Cooperative
Extension are qualifying events with the winners advancing to FFA State competition.

Adult truck and tractor contest will be held immediately after the FFA
contest. Premiums awarded will be the same as the youth.

FFA TRUCK DRIVING CONTEST

The purpose of this event is to promote interest awareness and safe operation of pickup
trucks by FFA members and the public. All contestants must have a valid NC driver's
license.

FFA TRACTOR DRIVING CONTEST

The purpose of this event is to demonstrate safe and efficient operation of farm tractors
and equipment.
