Cool Kalamaja
Kalamaja is a beautiful district of Tallinn that takes its fl avor
from the fi rst Estonian Republic times. Here you'll fi nd
delightful old wooden houses, as well as unique industrial
lots. The area is home to the world class Estonian Maritime
Museum (the Seaplane Harbour), the photography center
Fotografi ska and the Energy Discovery Center.
The area is also bustling with a rich mixture of cafes, bars,
restaurants, bakeries and street food options. Here are a
few highlights of the area:
Telliskivi Creative City.
An industrial wasteland, reborn - Telliskivi Creative City
is home for everything new. We off er a friendly and
supportive environment for the good and fragile ideas
to emerge and grow. Besides offi ces, ateliers, studios,
workshops, rehearsal spaces, shops and clubs, the
territory contains a bike shop, bread factory, print shop,
concert hall, theatre stage, several cafes, galleries, bars
and restaurants.

Noblessner Seafront District.
Once the major submarine shipyard of Imperial Russia,
it has now turned into a seafront quarter that is open to
the people and to the sea. In the Noblessner district you
can fi nd the Põhjala Brewery, Shishi, Staapli 3 Art Gallery,
Kai Art Centre, PROTO Discovery Factory and a number
of excellent restaurants. Right next door is the Kalamaja
Park, and the Seaplane Harbour.
