English and Social Studies (Grades 5-8)
Mr. Ingram Says….
This year was more than just memorable — it was transformative. What began as a rollercoaster of new concepts and challenges became a journey of mastery and growth. In ELA, students moved beyond simply reading
stories to analyzing complex texts and crafting thoughtful, structured essays. Paragraphs weren’t just practiced — they were perfected.
In social studies, students didn’t just learn about the world — they gained a deeper understanding of the cultures, histories, and beliefs that shape it. They asked big questions, explored new perspectives, and found
connections across time and place.
One student summed it up best: “This year was full of lessons, beyond the classroom.” Whether it was learning to collaborate, manage time, face challenges, or support one another, students grew not only academically but
personally. Friendships were strengthened, teamwork was tested, and character was built along the way.
As the year draws to a close, students aren’t just ready for summer — they’re ready for whatever comes next, with confidence, insight, and a year of unforgettable growth behind them.
