2022-2023 saw High School grow to an AISF record for HS enrollment—12! VHS opened some interesting course opportunities and gave the students the feeling of belonging to a class made up of students from across the United States and around
the world. The students are connected to their VHS teachers and classmates and have assignments with weekly deadlines and most of the courses have a proctored final test. These courses keep them very busy, but we have managed to have
some time for fun; the students have had PE with Mr. John Oliver and Mr. Frederick, Art with Mrs. Kathrin, French with Miss Anna, and games with Grade 7 & 8! Also, the Service-Learning Program led by Ms. Nachelle and Ms. Kamara opened new
opportunities for the high school students to connect with the local Sierra Leonean community. Guys, you did a very good job this year! Good luck for next year!
