Mao-Mahon, written in English also as Mahon, is a municipality
and capital city of Menorca Island, Spain, as well as the seat of
Island Council of Minorca. Port Mahon is located on the island's
eastern coast, which is part of the Balearic Islands' autonomous
community.

Mao-Mahon features one of the world's largest natural harbors:
5 km (3.1 miles) long and up to 900 m (2,953 feet) wide.
Though the water is deep, it remains mostly clear due to being
slightly enclosed. In 2009 the population of Port Mahon was
estimated to be 29,500 inhabitants.
