Areas Needing Improvement

1. Periodic monitoring, inventory and calibration

of laboratory facilities is not observed.

2. There is no proper disposal of laboratory

waste, coordination with DENR for disposal of

used and expired chemicals is not evidenced.

3. Drainage system particularly those in the

laboratory is not upgraded.

4. Comprehensive waste management is not yet

imposed in the whole university. Addressing

concerns in the laboratory wastes and influent

is not noted in the waste management plan.
