ความผิดปกติจากการสร้างฮอร์โมน

1.Hypothyroidism

• ร่างกายผลิต thyroid hormone น้อย

• ลักษณะอาการ low metabolic rate, body temperature,impaired physical and

mental development

• Cretinism (children) และ myxedema (adult)

2. Hyperthyroidism

• เกิดจากปริมาณ thyroid hormone มากไป

• ลักษณะอาการ high metabolic rate, body temperature,tachycardia, weight loss

• Grave’s disease (คอพอกตาโปน)
