フルモデルチェンジしたレクサスLS(2017年発売)には、日本の伝統工芸である折り紙
からヒントを得て、L字型のプリーツを手作業で折り目をつけたドアリムが施されている。
三協の職人でもある清水友子は、時代を卓越した日本の匠の技をもって、LSモデルとし
てのレクサスの望むものを作りあげた。

Featured in selected grades of the all new Lexus LS (2017) are hand pleated
door trims inspired by the quintessential Japanese Art of ORIGAMI. Yuko
Shimizu, the member of Sankyo Co., Ltd. works fulfilled Lexusʼ desire to imbue
the LS model with a feeling of timeless Japanese craftsmanship.
