Message from Coordinator-Middle Wing

Role of education in today’s era is not only to pursue academic excellence but also requires
overall development of a child. That is exactly what we try to achieve at DPS Jammu. Our aim
is to imbibe the true values and holistic growth of the child. Learning may be expressed in a
variety of ways through language, play, drama, art, music and movement which helps children
to develop their innate curiosity about the world around them and get involved in in-depth
thinking, lateral thinking and hands-on experience to retain knowledge which helps them in
their growing years. Children are motivated to move from known to unknown, concrete to
abstract and local to global.
The school promotes positive character traits among students through special assemblies.
Our students with so much involvement in co-curricular activities perform equally well in
academics I would like to congratulate our dedicated team of teachers and these beautiful young
minds working behind this literary work of art in the form of this magazine. It proves that we
have accomplished the dream of providing quality education and nurturing the budding artists
which was seen decades ago by our esteemed management.
I conclude with the message: We as parents and teachers are responsible in laying the
foundation for the success of our progeny, both academically and personally: throughout life.
Let us always remember every child is unique, limitless and ready to shine!
I am excited and look forward to working with you as a team to help each little child have
an identity and a successful life ahead!
