Heavenly Reunion
Some people come up to you and say, “I don’t know how
you do it, you are so strong.” Maybe you’d like to say to them
I do not know how I do it either, but I did not have a choice.”
Your only choice is how you are handling yourself, how you are
connecting to others, how you are being open and vulnerable
with your grief. This is your choice.
You are resilient. Your story matters. One thing that I am
convinced of, is that when you share and hear about others, it
helps bring meaning to your little boys and girls, your sons and
daughters. It puts a little bit of spring to your step knowing that
you are not the only one, and you’re going to make it.
You have made it this far, and you continue to come out of
this stronger, wiser and more loving. You are the kind of mother
and father that your heavenly child would be proud of. Your
heart is larger because of the pain, the love, the sorrow, and
the moments of joy. Your heart is fuller because it is filled with
many things.
You are making a difference. Your losses, your babies, and
your journey matters. We grieving moms and dads are in this
together. Despite all we’ve read together, we wish our babies
were here. However, Heaven changes everything inside that
wishing. How? Losing your baby is a painful pause, but not
a goodbye. Grieving can be hard, but you will find what you
need as your grief journey changes. Your precious child was
received into God’s presence as their last heartbeat here became
their first heartbeat in Heaven.
