I am writing with details of the 2018 annual accreditation review, which is due on 22 February 2018. The purpose
of the review is to ensure that the accredited insurance training provision at CFPA’s Casablanca premises
continues to meet CII accreditation standards.
The value of being a CII accredited professional development centre
The CII kite mark can assist in gaining competitive edge. The CII accreditation award provides an independent
verification and benchmarking of your insurance professional development programmes.
The benefits include:
an internationally-recognised industry kite mark for your professional education centre
enhancing the reputation of your insurance training
support in raising the profile of your courses to CII customers and employers.
Areas of focus
The review will focus on the changes you have made to the accredited training centre and insurance training
provision since last year’s accreditation review and your actions to address the requirements and
recommendations.
Of particular focus will be CFPA’s:
a) standards for training design
b) communication and review of learning objectives within delegate material
c) provision of revision courses for CII qualifications
d) process for educating trainers and support staff on how to respond to students’ queries on CII
qualifications
e) trainers’ CII qualifications
f) peer observation schedule and results for CII qualification units
g) nominated CII member’s CPD record (Driss)
h) insurance training activity since our initial accreditation review.
It will include a desk-based submission and telephone interview(s) to gather evidence that the training
programmes continue to be run consistently to CII accreditation standards.
