C. Language features
Expression of asking opinion : when you want to know what
someone else thinks about something. Here are some common
expressions for asking opinion :
What is your opinion on ….?
What do you think of ….?
Do you have any ideas for …?
Expression of giving opinion : when you share your own
thoughts and feelings about something. Here are some
common expressions for giving an opinion :
In my opinion ….
I think ….
I feel like ….
Abstract noun: word that refers to ideas or concepts that
cannot be perceived by the five senses, for example:
happiness, freedom, knowledge, beauty.
Technical terms: word or phrase that has a specific meaning
within a particular field of expertise, for example:
photosynthesis.
Modal auxiliaries: special class of helping verbs in English
grammar that add extra meaning to a sentence, which refers to
ideas like possibility, ability, permission, obligation,
necessity, or advice. For example : can, could, may, will, etc.
Action verb: word that expresses an action or occurrence.
