The decision to join the Storm Family can be the most rewarding experience, and we are honored to have you, your athlete, and your family as a part of our QC Storm Family! Below is a more global snapshot of info for our prep teams.

Who We Are
QC Storm’s mission is to provide a reputable cheer program that is recognized as being athlete centered, age appropriate, and fun where athletes are developing skills to help them make decisions to become happy, healthy, responsible adults.

7 month Commitment
Prep team is a 7 month commitment from October - April and requires attendance at practice, competitions, competition awards ceremonies, other team functions, as well as, a financial commitment which includes monthly tuition auto pay and additional costs (see “Costs” below).

How do we select teams?
Every athlete that is willing to put forth time and effort will be placed on a team. We have teams that accommodate ages 4-14yrs and levels 1-2. We group athletes together to create teams that are the most competitive. We base these placements on physical ability (jumps, tumbling, motions, stunting, cheer experience, etc.) and mental toughness (motivation, determination, work ethic, etc.), and the need of the team (do we need a flyer, base, or back spot).
Practice Information
We hold team practices 1 time a week with an additional tumbling class of your day/time choice. Extra practices may be added as we approach competition season. All attendance procedures, excused, un-excused, & mandatory practice information can be found later in this handbook.

What competitions do we attend?
Most competitions are within a 2 hour radius of the gym. All competitions will be 1 day.
Prep teams compete at 4 competitions between Feb-April

Cost
Prep Season competitive teams will cost approx $2000.00 in all training tuition, competition fees, USASF Membership fee, choreography & music fees
Additional Fees include: competition uniform (approx $220), Spirit fee (approx $145), & any travel costs.
