Practice Attendance
- Attendance is crucial especially for a team sport. When a member of the team is missing, the routine is incomplete and the squad suffers. Practices are scheduled to work full routines and build confidence for competition. We ask that you respect your squad with consistent and committed attendance for the full season. When athletes are missing, routines cannot be fully practiced.
- Please give 24 hr or more advanced notice to your coaches of any known reasons your will miss practice
- If you run into an emergency and need to miss practice, please text or email your lead coach. Please include your name and reason
for the missed practice.
- Athletes who are not attending practices regularly will run the risk of dismissal from the program.
- Please be on time and plan to remain for the entire duration of practice. If you have an event or issue, please communicate directly
with your coach with as much advanced notice as possible.


Absences Procedures:
Excused Absences:
- Include school functions that results in a grade for class, contagious sickness, family emergency, some religious events, & any
Vacation Dates emailed by Oct 15 (email to: info@qcscheeranddance.com). Un-Excused Absenses:
- 3 Un-Excused absences are permitted between October - April (more than 3 is cause for removal)
- Include but not limited to: Dances, Parties, concerts, Family Vacations (not emailed by Oct 15) etc. Mandatory Practices:

- Required 1 week before each competition. (missed practice could be cause for removal if un-excused)
- Please do not schedule family vacations or events within 1 week from a competition date that would cause a missed practice.
