It gives me an immense pleasure in bringing up this ICAI Doha Chapter
Doha CAnnect
first edition of E-Newsletter of this term. We have named it Doha CAnnect – being
the name that gives it the Doha touch and at the same time connects to our
members (CA’s) contribution towards the newsletter where we have tweaked
Connect as CAnnect.

It was a great thought by our chairperson CA Nirlep Bhatt who came up with the
idea of newsletter which will be released every quarter. We decided to release the
first edition on the auspicious occasion of CA Day celebration of our chapter.
Henceforth this will be a quarterly affair.

When this journey began with the PR committee along with Excom, we all were
little confused as to what should be the content. But as we started brainstorming
the same, we realized that we have got a good pool of talent within Doha

Chapter family with many of them who write article well and have authored books
as well. All our members are multi-talented and their spouse and kids are also
having various skills which can form part of our newsletter. This will in some or the
other manner start connecting each member and Doha Chapter will be a
close-knit family.

There has been a great contribution from the PR team and of course from the
management committee members. We enjoyed every bit of the camaraderie
while discussing and finalizing the content and the layout. Hope this newsletter will
bring in some value addition to the life of every member of our Chapter.

We appreciate your feedback on the newsletter and anticipate many more
relevant contents to be shared which we can include in our coming editions.
