6. Can you run while your ostomy is outputting?
a. I have an active ileostomy so it’s outputting even while running. Wearing a Stealth Belt, I’ve
been able to run without incident even when I’m on day 5 or 6 with my appliance. b. Your digestive system does slow down while exercising.

8. Do you wash it every day?
a. I usually rotate through 3-4 belts, which will last me about 2 years. I basically treat them like
socks or underwear.
9. What kind of closure does it have?
a. There are 2 different types. One has a Velcro strap that you can tighten down for extra support
or protection. The other is a slip-on format for more casual situations, like sleeping.
10. How do I order a belt to help with a hernia?
a. We have phone lines in Canada open M-F 9-6pm EST (800-237-4491)
b. All our customer service staff have been working with us for 5 years or wear belts themselves
and can walk you through the process.
11. What sizes do these belts come in?
a. We custom-tailor these belts to you, based on 3 main measures: your waist at the level of

your stoma, what side of the body your stoma is on, and the width of the flange of your actual appliance. We have videos on our site to show you how to measure for Hollister and Coloplast 1- and 2-piece appliances.
