WHO NEEDS BOYFRIENDS ?
As they breakfasted around the old wooden kitchen table on Wednesday morning, Saffron’s family told her their news. ‘You got back from the paddock too late for us to show it to you, but Athol and Patrick sent us this really cool DVD of all the film they took out at Green Mountain. They sent it by special courier!’ disclosed her brother, much impressed.
‘I didn’t know there’d be so much up there. It just looks like pretty ordinary scrub to me,’ remarked Tom.
‘It's a really top film. I suppose, if you really think about it, Patrick would do good photography. I keep forgetting that those two are pro’s. I always imagine them the way they used to be when they were just crazy students,’ said Angie.
‘You know, Ronnie, I thought of this way cool idea when I was watching that film,’ declared Charles eagerly. ‘The Cheeseburgers are playing at the senior-school dance on Saturday, it’s in the school hall and they’ve got a DVD projector there. It’s bolted up high in a little wire cage ‘cause the last one got nicked ... anyway, if we took in Tom’s laptop ...’
‘Hang on,’ growled Tom. ‘Who said I’d lend you that? What if someone nicks my laptop? We can’t afford to replace it if they do ... it’s where I’ve done all my translations.
