There were all the plants and animals that she had seen - and more! - A sleek black snake, scales glinting like rubies and diamonds, was sliding sinuously towards the camera. It slid past as the camera stayed still. She had heard that standing still was the best way not to be bitten by a snake, but was glad that she had not had to test the theory. They must have taken that film while she had been talking to Mobo, or asleep under the gum tree.
She went through the whole DVD and downloaded all her favourite pictures onto the computer, then she printed them out onto her mother’s expensive photo paper. She grabbed some fruit to eat on the way to the paddock and headed off to see Magic.
