What are your favorite settings to play? Festivals? Main rooms? After hours or peak-time?
We can extract something positive from each type of setting. They're all good for us. If we were FORCED to choose, it would be after hours. There is something magical about the sunrise during a party.
You have worked with P.Diddy and also a track with Wu-Tang Clans Ghostface Killah. Tell us a little bit about those experiences?
We were fortunate enough to be asked to play at Diddy's legendary house parties during WMC for two years now. As expected, it was total madness and we had a blast. Having the opportunity to remix Ghostface was essentially a dream come true. We grew up on his music. Our friend and DJ, Boris, put us in contact with Ghostface's manager and he gave us the green light. It goes without saying we were ecstatic about it.
You guys seem to have a strong tie to New York. Does NYC hold a special place in your hearts? Do you have a favorite venue to play there?
New York has shown us so much love it's been surreal. Our first major gig there was at PACHA NYC thanks to the late and great Rob Fernandez and our good friend Jonpaul Pezzo.
Social media and cell phones have infiltrated clubs more and more over the years. Do you notice if much of
your audience members are pre occupied with their cell phones and videoing the experience? From your perspective how does this affect the atmosphere in clubs?
We don't mind if people take a short moment to record and share their experiences as long as they don't forget they are here to dance!
Production wise is there any dream artist you would love to work with and why?
We both have deeply admired Pharrell Williams for as long as we can remember. His ability to transcend genres is inspirational to us.
Do you have a favorite club to play in Miami?
CLUB SPACE without a doubt.
What are your thoughts on the future of the Miami club scene and what needs to happen to keep it thriving!
We've witnessed the Miami scene grow exponentially since the mid 1990s and would regard it as a capitol of dance music. There are amazing parties week in and week out.
Do you have 1 favorite memory to date of an event that has topped all shows over years?
Two years ago we played for 11 hours on the back deck of the Miami Groove
Cruise. Everyone was having so much fun we all left that day with 3rd degree sun burns! Totally worth it!
Are there any other Miami producers we should be keeping an eye on?
Definitely check out Jesse Perez, Sex Sells, and Lazaro Casanova.
Our readers are mainly Ireland and UK based. Have you guys played across the pond yet and are there any shows they can mark their calendars for?
Not as of yet but it's definitely in the works.
What’s on the cards for the future of Cocodrills and what can we be expecting to see in the near future?
We are currently working closely with Native Instruments for tutorial workshops and also looking to take our party, "En Noir," to other cities outside of Miami.
Plug your latest upcoming release in 2 sentences... go!
Check out our upcoming EP, "Got it Good" on Stacey Pullen's Blackflag Recordings followed by another on Loco Dices' Desolat.
Any final words for our readers?
Thank you for having us, don't forget to stay weird!

Club Review
Space Miami. - 34 NE 11th St, Miami, Florida 33132.
Space has long been a staple of quality clubbing in Miami. The saying “Saturday belongs to Space” Doesn’t come lightly. Firstly, Space only opens on Saturdays (with some rare special event Fridays) and secondly, no club has ever competed with Space Saturdays.
It goes without saying that if you go to space you will automatically have a great time. It doesn’t matter who is behind the decks, the atmosphere is second to none. With a 24-hour license, its pretty much clubbing heaven until the last person is standing! (Usually 2pm on Sundays) It’s a local clubbing right of passage to party from doors open until the doors close! An achievement conquered by only a select few.
The biggest name Djs in the world has graced the decks of this 3-room, 25,000- square-foot mega complex. With a large main room, VIP area, an upstairs loft, as well as a rooftop patio, which plays host to daytime parties. Often, guest DJs will play
the main room and then continue their sets upstairs on the patio.
The real party is After-hours on the Terrace (Glass roofed terrace). Locals + In the biz workers (who are just starting their party after work) and lucky tourists all mingle and dance till late Sunday evening!
Nearly everyone in the Magic City has more than one story about "that time they went to Space."
Space is the epitome of Miami Clubbing and must for anyone visiting, and with the likes of Travis Rogers and Luis Diaz at the helm, the party will always be interstellar!
Check out events and information on their website at www.ClubSpace.com.
If you are traveling from Ireland or the U.K. to Miami to go clubbing message me on my Facebook (Facebook.com/ DjEdWhitty) for promoter’s lists, which includes free entry and bottle service information.
