State of Texas Spot Bid Fair
CELEBRATING 10 YEARS
OF DOING BUSINESS TEXAS STYLE
SPOT BID FAIR!
More than 71 State Hub Coordinators participated in the 2016 Doing Business
Texas Style Spot Bid Fair. They spent money, awarded contracts and helped
businesses complete a deal – right there on the spot. This year is expected to
be even bigger. We do not want to leave any deals on the table. Make sure
you plan to attend and bid on business opportunities with state
representatives. IT’S FREE to attend!
Senator Royce West believes that small business is at the heart of the Texas
economy and that by maintaining a business friendly environment, our state
Senator Royce West will remain a viable engine boosting our economy. There is no reason why
State Senator District 23 anyone wanting to do business with the State of Texas can’t find the
opportunity to bid on work, make meaningful connections and understand how
best to do business with the State.
Businesses will have a unique opportunity to attend the Statewide HUB Program's educational workshops,
meet with purchasers from state agencies and institutions of higher education, build relationships with various
businesses, and submit bid proposals on-site. Plan to grab your computers, pricing modules and sharpen your
pencils! Need a little space to workout your bids. Visit the Cyber Lounge found on the Expo floor. Sit back and
relax while you work on your bid opportunities.
Bids awarded during this event provide real revenue to HUB suppliers and competitive pricing for products and
services for the State of Texas. It is a “win-win” situation for all participants. Note: The Dallas/Fort Worth
Minority Supplier Development Council provides HUB certification for minority-owned businesses.
