Q5. I have made a purchase using the government purchase card on or before September
30, but I haven’t received the invoice. What funds do I use to process the payment?
A5. Purchases made on the government purchase card on or before September 30, are to be
obligated (and accrued if the goods / services are received before midnight September 30) using
FY 2020 funds. Purchases must be charged to the year incurred, and not in the year the invoice
is received.
