UNEMPLOYMENT RATE
This indicator reports the percentage of the civilian population age 16 and older that
is unemployed (non-seasonally adjusted). Unemployment creates financial instability and barriers
to access including insurance coverage, health services, healthy food, transportation, and other necessities. By tracking these trends long term we can hopefully anticipate periods of elevated need and assist in providing access to services that address these needs.
