INSURANCE POPULATION RECEIVING MEDICAID
Research is ongoing about access to health care and social services as a protective factor in relation
to child abuse and maltreatment. For this reason, the present assessment included information on Medicaid utilization as an indicator of community residents that have access to regular medical care who might not otherwise due to low income.
